Reaching Out to Share Christ with All
All youth who are entering 9th grade after this school year are eligible to attend the National Youth Gathering which will be held in Detroit, Michigan next July. This is a wonderful experience for our high school youth! We will have an informational meeting on September 10th at 6:00 pm. Sunday School registration will take place at our Halfway Hodgepodge event. Please plan to attend worship at 9:00 am and then Hodgepodge following the service!

We are looking for a group of youth to sing a song with our Worship Team at our Hodgepodge Worship Service (our fall programming kickoff day) on Sunday, September 14th at 9 am

Be sure you mark down in your calendars the dates for this year’s Vacation Bible School from August 10-13! We will once again combine with Journey Lutheran church for this fun week. We use a rotation-style format and generally the stations are: Games, Food, Bible Stories, Songs, Gathering/Sending.

Lutheran Campus Ministry—La Crosse has received a challenge gift of $20,000. An anonymous supporter of this ministry to the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, Viterbo University and Western Technical College has offered to match all donations received from individual donors and families during the months of July and August, up to $20,000.
Lutheran Campus Ministry deeply appreciates the generosity of their donor and asks you to assist us in meeting this person’s challenge. Meeting this goal will help them to continue to provide full time campus ministry to our area colleges. They will be able to continue their partnership with Crossroads Campus Ministry, offering radical hospitality to students in their new building: Common Ground. They will be able to meet the challenges of ministering to students in the 2nd decade of the 21st century. These students are our hope. They are our joy.
July 13 & 20 we will be taking a Noisy Offering to help support this vital ministry. Thank you!

As a fundraiser for our Youth Group, people could “vote” on who they wanted to throw a pie at by putting change in cans labeled Sam Daily or Pastor Jean.
Pastor Jean won and the Youth Group raised $120.29. Thank you to everyone that participated.

May 18th is our last day of Sunday school! The children will be planting pumpkin seeds, playing games, and ‘pieing’ either Pastor Jean or Sam Daily. Please dress accordingly! The students will also be singing at the 10:30 service.

Our high school and college graduates will be honored at either service on May 11. Please contact the church office at 526-3701 if you or a family member is graduating!
Share Confirmands will be affirming their baptism in the Rite of Confirmation on May 4th. They will give their faith statements at both services. Come and support our young people on this milestone of their faith journey! Our confirmands this year are: Cassey Bandoli, Tyson Gates, Zach Gordon, Kindra Johnson, Lars Oines, Trevor Plomedahl, Rachael Temp, and Jordyn Stasiak.
